We’re excited to introduce the Free Owen Sound Digital Tour Guide, a new way to explore the city’s stories, landmarks, and natural beauty. Right from your phone.

Currently, the app features:

  • 🐟 The Salmon Tour – follow the journey of salmon through Owen Sound’s waterways.

  • 📖 Local History Tours – discover the places and moments that shaped our community.

This is just the beginning; our library of tours will continue to grow, and we’d love your help shaping the experience.

As this is the Beta Test phase, your feedback is an important part of making the app better. Because we value your feedback, we're running a contest, and every piece of constructive feedback will be entered into a draw to win a $50 Gift Certificate to either the Apple or Google app stores (winner's choice). The contest and feedback will close on November 2nd at 11:45 p.m.

Please:

  • Try out the tours and explore different paths.

  • Send us notes about the path you took to get there so we can uncover the error, too.

  • Share your thoughts about what worked well and what could be improved.

We are working on collecting more pictures to include in the app. Those updates will be complete soon.
