Bruce and Grey counties are home to 45 species of wildflowers, including asters, goldenrods, and fleabanes, each with fascinating stories and unique characteristics that enrich the landscape. Tyler, a knowledgeable ecologist with over fifteen years of experience in these regions, will guide you through the natural history of these vibrant plants that brighten autumn and provide sustenance for various animals. His innate curiosity fuels his passion for exploring the complex relationships within wild ecosystems. For the last five years, Tyler has been instrumental in updating the OSFN’s Field Guides, focusing on ferns, orchids, and most recently, the captivating asters, goldenrods, and fleabanes.
