Together, REWIRED & HEARTWOOD present a BENEFIT CONCERT evening for our friend & primary sound technician STEVE MEACHER — the guy who helps make the magic of sound happen at Heartwood night after night and year after year! This evening features music with REWIRED along with special guest AMBER MAY w/Bay Ruigrok + JD Crosstown! This evening is about music, love, and standing beside Steve and his family when it matters most. Please join us at Heartwood!
With Steve Meacher’s recent diagnosis of colorectal cancer, he is facing a very challenging time: Steve will be facing life-changing surgery, chemo and radiation. Many of you know Steve as an integral part of Owen Sound’s music community. If you’ve been to an event at Heartwood, Steve is the main man/tech that makes the room and show, sound great! Maybe you know him from being helped out at Long & McQuade (his main daytime gig). Or if you’ve been to Summerfolk for any of the last 30 years of the Festival, you’ve likely crossed paths with Steve! Together we want to support Steve and make sure he can continue to be working in the field that he loves: LIVE MUSIC!
