Join us at the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre for "Alpha to Omega: Greek Canadians in Owen Sound." Focusing on her own Georgas family, local author Lili Anne Holding describes the immigration of her grandparents at the turn of the last century, following the lives of Christos and Sadie Georgas raising their ten children through the roaring twenties, the Dirty Thirties, the fabulous fifties and their carry-ons through the sixties, showcasing family businesses, music, and athletic achievements. On February 10th at 6:00pm, we will be featuring a short talk by Lili Anne Holding along with a screening of her video "Alpha to Omega: Greek Canadians in Owen Sound." Tickets are $5 or included with the purchase of one of her books from the CWHC.
