The Georgian Bay Symphony was founded in 1972 by a small group of dedicated area musicians. Since then the GBS has grown to an outstanding community orchestra with over 40 volunteer members, from across Grey and Bruce counties, and a core group of professionals under the musical direction of Jeffrey Pollock. The GBS performs five concerts each season starting in October and running through to May.
