Tea on the Train

Thursday, July 31, 2025 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Cost: $20

Join us at the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre on our historic Coach 4884 for the return of Tea on the Train! We are hosting three teas in partnership with the Reach Centre to nourish your body and mind. Tickets include tea and treats prepared and served by Reach to be enjoyed alongside a presentation by CWHC Curator Zack McLean, with a new subject at each tea. The subject of our July 31st tea is "Two Stations, Zero Trains: Remembering Owen Sound's Railways." It has been 30 years since the last train to Owen Sound, so we're reflecting on the rich, sometimes unnecessarily complicated history of the railways in Owen Sound. Tickets for Tea on the Train are $20 and can be purchased in-person at the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre (1155 1st Ave. W) or online. The event begins at 2:00pm on July 31st. Please be aware that due to Coach 4884’s historic construction, this event is not wheelchair accessible.
