
Artists Talk! with Tony K Miller at Grey Roots
Local artist Tony K Miller is a descendant of Freedom Seekers on the Underground Railroad. His ancestors on both sides of his family settled in Owen Sound. He explores his history and identity to create award-winning visual narratives in his paintings, linocuts and sculptures. Tony says, “I believe the best way to say no to suffering and injustice is to create something beautiful and bring it in to the world… Beauty is the ultimate form of protest.” We are delighted to have him speak during Black History Month. This is a Lunch and Learn.
