Owen Sound offers many bike-friendly roads and trails.Contact the Owen Sound Visitor Centre to inquire about their bikes available for rent: We offer 4 cruiser bikes for rental (2 of which have fun baskets for pet's, randoms finds and spontaneous shopping adventures!) Helmets are included in the rental fee. We have a child carrier/jogger attachment also available, prices are as follows:
1 HOUR = $12.00+ tax 1/2 DAY = $20.00+ tax FULL DAY = $35.00+ tax CARRIER/JOGGER (FULL DAY) = $30.00+ tax CARRIER/JOGGER (1/2 DAY) = $$18.00 + tax

Bikeface Cycling offers alternative cycling rental options, at 269 10th Street East (access at rear of store off of 3rd Avenue East), or see the Bikeface website to find out more. If boating is your thing, take a trip on the picturesque Sydenham River, with a canoe or paddleboat rented from the Harrison Park Putt 'n' Paddle. The Putt 'n' Paddle is open every day during the summer, and on weekends only from Labour Day to Thanksgiving. Rentals are $8 for 30 minutes. Owen Sound's efficient transportation network provides both Conventional and Specialized Transit service to residents and visitors alike. Conventional Transit service is a four (4) route system operating during the day Monday through Saturday. All four routes provide ½ hour service from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Mobility Transit provides residents with a door-to-door service which is specifically designed for residents with physical mobility limitations that restrict their ability to use the Conventional transit service. |

From October (Thanksgiving weekend) to May (Victoria Day long weekend), Visitor Services is available at City Hall, 808 2nd Avenue East. City Hall is open Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
SPRING/SUMMER HOURS & LOCATION:
From May (Victoria Day weekend) to October (Thanksgiving weekend) Visitor Services are available at the Visitor Centre, 1155 1st Ave West. It is open 7 days a week: Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and weekends 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Check online for changes to hours due to Covid-19.
