If you enjoy craft beer, wine and cider, you're in good company in Owen Sound. We have two local producers nearby, the Coffin Ridge Winery and the new Mudtown Station Restaurant and Brewery on the harbour. Each is on the Saints & Sinners Trail, which celebrates the resurgence of craft beverage makers in the region following many decades of prohibition (see the Corkscrew City Tour for details).
Mudtown Station Restaurant & Brewery |
Mudtown Station is Owen Sound's newest craft brewery, opening in May 2018. Located in a historic train station on the harbour, it features up to a dozen local craft brews on tap in the tasting room plus a separate licensed restaurant and patio overlooking the water. Prohibition-era posters and railroad memorabilia will entertain you while you dine and sip. Mudtown Station Restaurant & Brewery |
Coffin Ridge Boutique Winery |
There are few better spots to relax and take in the sunset after a day of exploring the region. The winery is open daily and offers tours (from vine to wine), tastings and special events year-round. It also features a B&B if you'd like to stay the night! Coffin Ridge Winery |
