No plans for the PD Day? Let your child spend time creating at GB Arts. AGES 8-13. Come spend the day making a unique hand-built clay pumpkin candle holder that will be ready to display by Halloween! Your child will spend the day handbuilding and decorating a pumpkin in clay using the pinch pot and slip and score methods. It will take 2-3 weeks for drying, bisque firing, and glaze firing, ready just in time to use at Halloween for a jack’o’latern! We will provide a hot lunch! There will be a stretch / play break halfway through the day, with snack breaks (Please send 2 snacks) scheduled between the morning and afternoon crafting sessions. Please have your child dressed and ready for the elements as breaks tend to venture outside (dependent on weather). If your child has any allergies please pack a suitable lunch for them as we cannot accommodate substitutions. You will receive a confirmation email upon signing up with a link to our parent consent waiver to fill out and submit online. Please complete it as soon as you receive the confirmation email.
