The Roxy Theatre is Owen Sound's premier destination for live theatre. It brings quality artistic and cultural programming to the region and is a tourism attraction in downtown Owen Sound.
The historic 400-seat venue, owned and operated by the Owen Sound Little Theatre, presents four theatrical productions each year, plus a four-part music series and a children's performance series. The theatre also houses various community groups and concert promoters for seasonal productions and shows.
Built in 1913, the theatre once housed an opera house. Its foyer doubles as an art gallery, the Griffin Gallery, which hosts exhibits by visual artists year-round. The Roxy is licensed, meaning you can enjoy an alcoholic beverage from your theatre seat!
