In May of 2004, the City of Owen Sound sent out a request to its Elementary School children to select a Native Flower to represent the City. The simple and elegant Red Trillium, found in the rich woods of Owen Sound in Spring time, now resides as Owen Sound’s Official Native Flower.

The Gates at Kelso Beach in Owen Sound opens at 4:30pm on Friday,August 20th, with on-line tickets no longer being available after 9pm tonight (Thursday). Although you will be able to get tickets at the Festival gate after 3pm on Friday.
