Did you know?
Grey County was founded by settlers in 1852 and named after Earl Grey, Secretary of the state for war and the colonies. Bruce County was named after the founder, James Earl Bruce, who came to the area from Scotland. Many of the towns in Bruce County were named after towns in Scotland, as James Earl Bruce became homesick after he settled in this area.
