35th Annual Summerfolk Set to Begin!

Summerfolk starts tomorrow! Have you got your tickets yet?

If you have never heard of Summerfolk, it is a annual festival that happens every summer that celebrates food, music and art. With over 50 performing acts, 40 Artisans with creations for sale, and an extensive food village with something for everyone, Summerfolk is an experience for all ages to participate.

Gates at Kelso Beach in Owen Sound open at 4:30pm on Friday, August 20th, with on-line tickets no longer being available after 9pm tonight (Thursday). Although, you will be able to get tickets at the Festival gate after 3pm on Friday.  The Gates open at 10:30am on Saturday, and Sunday at 10:00am.

Some performers include Blues Roots, Jumble Jam, First Rate People, Country Roots, Red Horse, Squeeze Me, and It's Bluegrass Time. With many, many more scheduled to perform.

Don't forget about the Summerfolk Drum Circle, Mixed-Up Bands, and of course the Children's Village which has fun-filled activities all weekend long for the young Summerfolk lovers.

Allenford 2010 Homecoming Event Schedule July 1-4

The village of Allenford, is located on the banks of the Sauble River, halfway between Southampton and Owen Sound. The village itself is actually over 140 years old.
